Well hostelers, it has been a wonderful start to our fall season here at the domefront. We had a Fall Festival this past weekend where there was a sourdough baking workshop, a mask making workshop and we even bobbed for apples.

On Saturday night as witches and game characters, punks, faeries, and trees stood around preparing for our mascerade ball, there was a mysterious murder, but alas there were clues all around the forest. As the hostel staff was taken out one at a time, there were more ghosts zombies and monsters arising. The Haunted Hostel in the Forest was a big hit, and we are sorry if you missed it.

We had a beach trip to Jekyll Island last night to celebrate our actual night of Halloween. Around the Hostel we have been busy as always, improving our gardens, collecting wood, and felling some old dead trees. We look forward to having you here soon…

But please folks, if you reserve, you must call the day before to confirm your reservation, otherwise please cancel as soon as you are aware of the need to do so. There have been an abundance of no-shows lately, and it impacts othes that would like to visit.
