Yet another week has gone by at The Hostel and it has been a wild ride. Mike Joe, Joey and Mikey have been throwing down in the veggie gardens, and they are beginning to shine. Their knowledge has brought back such yumminess as pineapple sage for us to dine on at dinner. The flower garden is still popping in the cold, and there are some major changes out at the Lake Garden. The fences have been brought down and an edible forest garden is underway. The tee pee has been moved toward that area to be utilized for vines. Avocados have been planted and more trees are due to arrive.

A new frame for the Sweat Lodge was built this week. This project was headed up by Mike Joe, Kara, Tree, Joey and Mikey. It was finished just in time for a new moon sweat which was honored by 9 close Hostel family members. The rounds were mind, body, spirit, and I Am. Thank you for those who built the new lodge and honored it with their sweat.

And alas the time has come for us at the Hostel to say a hard goodbye to John. His commitment to us here over the last several months was tremendous and we wish him well as he registers for classes and returns to his lifes lessons on another road. Thank you John, we love you!

On a possibly brighter note the poop log comic character “Angry China Man” has returned and has left a trail of mosh pits, pillaging, and laughter, and for that we are all thankful
