Painting props and settings up backgrounds in anticipation for our circus sideshow halloween party and talent show is where the week began. With the excitement building up around the Hostel in hopes of a fun-filled magical forest family celebration none were disappointed with the outcome of this weekends events. So many came in high spirits and nothing but love in their hearts. Laughter echoed through the forest trees, while energetic conversations were had reconnecting old friends. New friendships were formed over homemade blueberry pies and late night glasses of wine in the common room. Rhythmic beats from pots and pans started dance parties in the kitchen and the warmth of the fire pit encouraged beating of the drums, strumming of guitars and singing from the soul. The circle of thanks each night was a beautiful reminder of the bound we share and all we have to give to each other and to others. The forest which gives so much has once again been rejuvenated with light and love from the forest family. Thank you to all who were present this weekend, for all that was given and for all that was received.
