Hostel Coffee

The Hostel is delighted to be serving and offering our own uniquely blended coffee “TREE HOUSE BLEND. This remarkable coffee is being small-batch roasted by Phillip Brown of PERC COFFEE in Savannah and is delivered to the Hostel on the same day as it is roasted. It is served to our guests each day and is also available for purchase at $10 per 1lb bag. This remarkable coffee is a blend of three unique beans:

NICARAGUA SELVA NEGRA – This is bright, citrusy-orange coffee grown on the Selva Negra Estata which lies in the Isabelia Sierra region. They focus on high quality, shade grown coffee and social and environmental efforts in the region. Grown on ‘bird-friendly’ farms

SUMATRA PERMATA GAYO – This dark, rich, syrupy bean with hints of raspberry and chocolate and a smooth finish. The Permata Gayo Co-Op was founded in 2004 by 50 farmers in the Lake Tawar Region of the Aceh province of western Sumatra.

BRAZIL BOB-O-LINK – A creamy, nutty and smooth coffee with a juicy sweet red fruit finish. Bob-o-Link Coffee links people with farmers who grow quality coffee in harmony with nature. This is also grown on ‘bird-friendly’ farms.

TREE HOUSE BLEND is truly a unique and incredibly flavorful blend and available only at The Hostel. Our thanks go out to Phillip for his tireless efforts in making this possible.
